Well, you can't say out of nowhere because plenty of people have been talking about Troll. Like Shadow, we have Dior, we" }, { "i": 4, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "have DLN, and of course G. Now, there's been plenty of other people I've seen on my timeline talk about Troll, but these are the trenchers, the people that have been in the trenches promoting this," }, { "i": 5, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "buying the bottom and dollar cost averaging even when other people didn't have conviction. But Crash is the cherry on top. Why? Because there's a difference between a person that has" }, { "i": 6, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "known to call some insane meme coins versus a person who's still known for owing people an airdrop. And you could say what you want about Crash, but I've spoken to this guy one-on-one before," }, { "i": 7, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "and let me tell you something, he's given so many people so much money and so much alpha just for nothing. I don't want to get into the details, but this guy really does help the space out more than" }, { "i": 8, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "a lot of people know. And then we can segue over to Alon, who is talking about a meme coin that was a play on the Hentai Virus, and pretty much telling people how they can make money off of a" }, { "i": 9, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "new narrative, or the flavor of the week. And he makes this long post about prediction markets and those sorts of things, and gives his link to Polymarket, and you can see how well" }, { "i": 10, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "that's doing for the Hentai Virus meme coin. For right now, that narrative is dying, and I hope it dies completely." }, { "i": 11, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "This is why. In 2024, the average hold time for a Solana token was one day, much longer with more community-driven holding. Then in it dropped to around 100 seconds. And then, in 2026, it declined to 60 seconds" }, { "i": 12, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "and really got all the way down to 58 seconds. Now, I'm not blaming the people holding these tokens because you kind of knew what you were going to get with Solana tokens, especially pump fun" }, { "i": 13, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "tokens, with the whole celebrity token meta with Iggy Azalea, Andrew Tate, and you know, Kanye West, and those sorts of things. A lot of people's first exposure to the Solana or to meme coins in general is just Solana, Solana tokens, the pump fun meta. So, you can't really blame people for that. There's no such thing as a billion-dollar meme anymore. Now, that's no shade to Thread Guy. I actually watch his show almost every day. I've been following him for quite a long time. Then you had projects like Saitama that hit like $7 billion market cap size. And then you had Pepe obviously. Pepe was a new meta with 0%" }, { "i": 28, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "taxes in a space where no one really had 0% taxes. And then we got to the Solana meme coin phase with Bonk. So to me, going from Dogecoin to Pepe and skipping out on Shiba Inu and projects like" }, { "i": 29, "speaker": "Speaker 1", "text": "Saitama, it is crazy because it just shows that not a lot of people knew kind of what we had back in the day. Remember, in the video he says that as of right now with the culture that's going on, there's no point in top blasting a meme coin. So it just goes to show that not everything is just the flavor of the week. But what is $90 if this is the next multi-billion dollar meme coin? Now, I don't want to make this video and and and make it seem like I hate on Solana because Solana wasn't really the issue. Remember, Bonk was the first Solana meme coin that started it all.
